Are you looking for a different location to go for a fun drink? Scooter’s Coffee is a relatively new shop in Naperville. It is a drive-up coffee shop with no indoor option. They are most known for their coffee selection, but also have a variety of different types of drinks like soda, matcha, smoothies, etc.

We picked three popular drink choices on the menu along with one seasonal drink and ranked them to see if it is worth paying a visit.

Iced Carmelicious

The Carmelicious is one of Scooter’s most popular items. It is a signature espresso drink featuring espresso, buttery caramel sauce, and 2% milk over ice.

This drink had a good balance between the sugar and coffee taste. This coffee was completed with a thick cold foam on top and drizzled with caramel. The taste of the coffee itself was caramel and sweet, but not overpowering. Even if you aren’t a big coffee lover, this drink was a good option to give coffee a try. We rated this coffee a 9/10.

Aquamarine Red Bull Infusion

This drink infuses the tropical flavors of Red Bull Yellow Edition with blue raspberry and coconut flavors.

The way we described the taste was tropical; it tasted like something you would drink on vacation. It was not super carbonated, even though it includes Red Bull in it. It was the perfect amount of sweetness, not too much or too little. We enjoyed it, and would give it an overall rating of 8/10.

Lavender Ice Berry Red Bull Infusion

The Lavender Ice Berry Red Bull Infusion has Red Bull Iced Edition, lavender flavoring, and lemonade over ice. It is topped with lavender cold foam and lavender sprinkles.

It is an interesting combination of flavors; it has sweet cold foam on top of a carbonated energy drink. It is refreshing, but the lavender is very strong and overpowering. I am not a huge fan of lavender, so personally, I would not repurchase since it tasted very floral. The cold foam was delicious, but the actual drink itself was just okay. Overall, we would rank it 5/10. 

Strawberry Watermelon Quencher

The Strawberry Watermelon Quencher is a blend of lemonade with strawberry and watermelon syrups. The flavor of this iced drink was overpowering yet kinda refreshing. The watermelon flavoring carried the drink’s overall taste with a hint of strawberry. This was our least favorite drink we tried, rating it a 4/10.

Overall Rating 

Over all four drinks we tried, the average ranking for Scooter’s comes out to be a 6.5/10. Some of the choices are better than others but with the variety of drinks, you are bound to find at least one that you enjoy.
